FC Community Welcomes Jay Maguire as Our New Manager

Jay Maguire Continues as FC Community Manager

We’re delighted to confirm that Jay Maguire will continue as manager for FC Community’s inaugural season. Having led our team to promotion last year, Jay’s decision to stay with us through this transition to fan ownership represents exactly the kind of continuity and commitment we value.

A Manager Who Gets It

Jay understands what we’re building here – a club where women’s football takes centre stage, where community matters more than profit, and where our community have a genuine voice in how things are run.

“I think the prospect of coaching the women’s team under FCC is a brilliant opportunity,” says Jay. “There is a clear vision for this team with defined values. Having that community aspect at the heart of the project is really key as we continue to provide an inclusive and supportive environment to women playing football.”

“FCC is a newly established community driven football club with the women’s team at the centre of it all, something that’s not really heard of these days so it’s exciting to be a part of.”

What This Means for Our Community

Jay’s continued leadership ensures stability as we embark on this new chapter. Same dedicated manager, same talented players, same community-focused approach.

Having been part of building our community approach from the beginning, Jay understands that success isn’t just measured in league positions. It’s about creating an environment where women’s football thrives, where local talent develops, and where our club serves as a genuine force for good.
