This Saturday, FC Community makes its debut as we face Liverpool Feds A Team at Admiral Park, and we’re turning this into exactly what community football should feel like.
This is local football at its best. A community space where excellent women’s football gets the stage it deserves, surrounded by people who understand what we’re building here.
Our players will give everything they’ve got because they’re representing something they’re part of, not just something they play for. DJ Joe Bennett will be on hand to provide the tunes and local singer/songwriter Helen Maw will provide the soundtrack to the first chapter of the FC Community story.
Arrive early. Stay late. Bring people who’ve never been to football. Whether we win, lose, or draw, Saturday represents everything we’re trying to prove about how football can work when it belongs to the people who love it most.
